With the aim to reduce the suppliers’ burden to fulfill different customer requirements on Potential Failure Mode and Effects Analysis approach, the AIAG-VDA FMEA Handbook (Ed 1) is planned to release in recent months, which is the so-called Red Print of VDA term. It’s the outcome of the AIAG-VDA FMEA Harmonization Project for more than 3 years, with contributions from members of AIAG, VDA, and some other automotive manufacturers and suppliers.

More and more organizations from other varying industries have started to apply the FMEA to improve product and service quality and reliability.

爲了降低供應商在滿足不同的“潛在失效模式與後果分析”相關顧客特定要求上的負擔，AIAG-VDA FMEA 手冊 (第一版）計劃在近月發佈，這是VDA術語中的紅皮書。該手冊是歷時3年多的汽車工業行動組織 (AIAG) 和 德國汽車工業協會 (VDA) 針對“潛在失效模式與後果分析方法”的協調一致項目的初步成果，包含了AIAG和VDA協會成員，以及一些汽車製造商和供應商的貢獻。

越來越多其他不同行業的組織也開始應用FMEA來提高產品和服務質量和可靠性。

The primary changes at present include 目前主要變更包括:

  • One set of terms and definitions 　統一的名稱和定義
  • Supplemental FMEA for Monitoring and System Response (MSR) is added

  • One set of S.O.D. tables for DFMEA and PFMEA, and a second set for MSR

The anticipated future plan 未來預期計劃:

  • After a 90-day period for commenting on the draft manual, the release of official publication is targeted for Q2 2018.
    在經過90天的草案評論期後，正式版手冊的發行目標期是2018年第二季度。
  • The effectivity is NOT planned to occur until after the IATF 16949 transition deadline of Sep 14, 2018.
    按計劃生效期不會在IATF 16949 轉換過渡期限2018年9月14日前。

Client actions 客戶行動:

  • To fulfill the requirement for IATF 16949:2016 certification, training and application of FMEA based on existing manuals shall be implemented by the organizations, as applicable.
    為滿足 IATF 16949:2016 認證要求，組織應根據現有手冊實施潛在失效模式與後果分析的培訓和應用，如適用。
